Phantom Salmon Charters fishes some of Alaska’s most famous rivers in Central Alaska, a short drive north of Anchorage.
We start fishing Alaska’s rivers in May for Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden & Arctic Grayling.
 We fish those species until the King’s arrive around the 10th of June. We fish for King Salmon until the season closure on July 13th, when we target Sockeye, Silvers, Chums, and Pinks.
Alaska’s famous Susitna River Valley hosts runs that are the 2nd largest runs of Silver Salmon in the state. We fish the Talkeetna, Big Susitna Rivers and their drainages. These are prime fishing areas for the avid angler.
We have access to many miles of prime waters and we are proud to provide you with some of the finest stream & river fishing the state of Alaska has to offer. You can fish for all 5 species of Pacific Salmon in addition to Rainbow trout, Dolly Varden and Arctic Grayling all from this one location.
We currently offer 5 hour and 8 hour charters for all species of fish. When fishing for the trophy King Salmon, the success rate is much higher on an 8 hour trip. We offer both morning and afternoon departures. Launch times will vary according to species and fishing conditions
